Why we built this.
Every student deserves to know how they are doing. Every parent deserves to be informed. And every community deserves technology that was built for them, not adapted from something that was not.
TBAI started with a simple observation: every tutoring session contains useful evidence about what a student can do, where a skill gap remains, and what should be practiced next. But that evidence rarely reaches families in clear, timely language.
We set out to fix that with session recording, curriculum alignment, mastery scoring, educator review, and family recaps. And when we thought about who needed this most, the answer was clear: Indigenous students and communities, chronically underserved by edtech that was never designed with them in mind.
So we built TBAI differently. With language support. With data sovereignty. With extended family access. With the understanding that education is not just individual. It is communal.
